Privacy Policy

• Account data: name, email address, phone number, date of birth, and password.
• Profile data: photos, prompts, bio, gender and who you want to meet, relationship goals, availability dates, height, lifestyle answers, languages, education, religion, and heritage. Some of these are special-category data and are collected only with your explicit consent.
• Verification data: the selfie and face-scan result used to confirm your photos are really you.
• Location data: the city or coordinates you provide or approve, used to show nearby members.
• Activity data: likes, passes, matches, messages, video-call agreements, and season highlights.
• Technical data: device and browser type, app version, IP address, push-notification tokens, crash and performance logs.
• Purchase data: subscription status received from the app store. We never see your card number.

• To provide the service, create your profile, and show relevant matches — performance of our contract with you.
• To process sensitive profile details, verification biometrics, and precise location — your explicit consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
• To keep the community safe, detect fraud, moderate content, and enforce our Terms — our legitimate interests and legal obligations.
• To send service and safety notifications — contract; for marketing emails and push messages, your consent.
• To meet legal requests and defend legal claims — compliance with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We share only what is needed with service providers acting on our instructions: cloud hosting and database, email delivery, push-notification delivery, photo verification, error monitoring, and analytics. We may disclose data to law enforcement where legally required or to prevent serious harm, and to a buyer in a corporate transaction under the same protections.

Your profile — including photos, first name, age, approximate location, and the answers you choose to show — is visible to other Seasonal members. Heritage is hidden unless you turn it on. Your email address, phone number, exact coordinates, and verification selfie are never shown to other members.

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where we transfer data out of the EEA, UK, or Switzerland we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or another approved safeguard.

We keep your account data while your account is active. When you delete your account we delete or irreversibly anonymise your profile, photos, and messages, usually within 30 days, except for limited records we must keep to prevent fraud, handle safety reports, or comply with the law — for example a record of a ban — which we keep for up to two years. Verification selfies are deleted once verification is decided.

Depending on where you live you can request access to your data, correction, deletion, a portable copy, restriction of or objection to processing, and withdrawal of consent. You can opt out of marketing at any time and you will not be subjected to discrimination for exercising a right. Most of this is available directly in Settings; otherwise email us and we will respond within the time the law allows. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

We use encryption in transit, access controls, and row-level database policies so members can only reach data they are entitled to. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password. Seasonal is strictly for adults; we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18 and we delete such accounts when found.
